The concept of the brand is derived from the expression “filthy rich”. The sense of wealth and decadence expected of a high-end jewelry line is paired in stark contrast with images and objects commonly associated with dirt, junk and urban detritus, culminating in a visual irony meant to appeal to the young, edgy jewelry collector.
